I have recently started cooking with casein protein and it has worked really well. Especially for mug cakes and microwave cakes. It keeps the cake super moist. The texture is simply amazing.
However, I have not quite got the feel for baking with casein protein yet though. I guess that will come with time and many more failed recipe attempts. Yes, I have had many failed recipe attempts. I guess they can’t all be great. The casein that I use is Musclepharm combat casein. I have never once been disappointed with any of their products.
Anyway, back to the cake you are probably drooling over. Peanut butter protein cake filled with my favorite dairy free and gluten free mini chocolate chips from Enjoy Life. Is it bad that I sometimes just eat these chocolate chips straight from the bag? No it’s not bad at all. Everyone does it once in a while.
