Last night, I was making some dinner and decided that I wanted something with some sort of berry. Pretty much all I had was raspberries. I remembered my raspberry chocolate chip protein waffles I made a couple weeks ago and how good they were. I figured if that flavor combo was god in waffles then it had to be good in cake!
This cake was really quick and easy to make because it is a microwave cake. It cooks in about 2 minutes in the microwave. It was perfect for me, because when I get hungry, I don’t want to wait long for food.
If you have never had raspberries and chocolate together, I highly recommend it. The tartness of the raspberries mixed with the sweet chocolate chips is delicious. I also made a healthy dark chocolate sauce to top the cake with. It is just cocoa powder, stevia, and sugar free maple syrup.
You may be surprised but this cake has 43 grams of protein if you use vanilla combat protein powder like I did. It helped sweeten it and give a huge boost of protein!
