I had such a terrible dilemma the other night. I made too much batter for my chocolate pumpkin protein donuts. The obvious decision was to make use of the extra batter and make myself a cake out of it. I know, my life is rough. :)
There were all kinds of interesting flavors going on here. I topped the cake with some P28 protein peanut butter. And then it gets kind of weird. I added mango. Mango? It actually went really well together. Having those juicy chunks of mango on top was delicious.
Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. I was not planning on this cake, but I am so glad made the mistake of making too much batter. I always knew things happen for a reason.
