This was one of those recipe that there was no planning at all. While walking through the grocery with my mom, I saw some dark chocolate dessert cups. It was chocolate and it looked interesting, so of course I had to get some. I really didn’t have any idea what I was going to make with them at that time, but I ended up coming up with something.
I decided on making some protein peanut butter cream to fill the dark chocolate cups with and drizzle it with a bit of milk chocolate and BAM. I had some mini chocolate peanut butter protein pies! You really can’t ever go wrong with you put chocolate and peanut butter together. They were almost like an interesting twist on a Reese’s peanut butter cup.
For the peanut butter protein cream, I used natural creamy peanut butter, Nuts ‘N More protein peanut butter, vanilla combat powder, Greek yogurt, and stevia. It is really packed with protein from the protein peanut butter, protein powder and Greek yogurt. Most people wouldn’t guess that such a delicious dessert could be so healthy.
Today was my last day of school, and summer break has been off to a good start. I went over to a friends house because he wanted me to teach him how to make pancakes. They weren’t healthy, but they certainly were delicious. We layered the pancakes with chocolate frosting, and topped them with chocolate whipped cream and melted Hershey’s bar. It was a chocolate overload!
