I don’t know why, but recently I have really been craving some S’mores. There is just something about a gooey, campfire s’more that I cannot resist. Well, I decided to fix that craving with this S’mores Almond Butter French Toast.
S’mores + Almond Butter + French Toast = HAPPINESS
Step 1: chocolate graham cracker protein french toast
So, to start, I made a chocolate graham cracker crusted protein french toast. I did my standard egg wash with egg whites, protein powder, almond milk, cinnamon and sweetener. Then I added some Chocolate ONE Protein After dipping each slice into the egg wash, I sprinkled some crushed up graham crackers on each side.
Step 2: cook the french toast!
I cooked each slice for about 4 minutes per side. You don’t want to overcook, or it will burn the graham cracker crust and dry out the french toast!
Step 3: almond butter marshmallow cream
For the almond butter marshmallow sauce, as you’d expect, I used almond butter and marshmallow fluff. I also added Greek yogurt for added protein. The almond butter I used is French Toast Almond Butter from All American Butter’s. Use code “MACROCHEF” for 10% off!
Step 4: add the toppings and devour!
For the toppings, I added some marshmallow fluff which I toasted with a torch for that campfire s’more flavor! I also added some crushed graham crackers, chocolate chips, and more French toast almond butter.
