So, it has been super hot here in the Midwest. Like super hot. Recently the heat index was nearly 110F. Indiana shouldn’t be hotter than Arizona in the summer! The only way to cool off from that heat are some LEMON CREAM PROTEIN POPSICLES!
Yep, protein popsicles. I made some pre-workout popsicles not long ago, and now we got some protein popsicles. They turned out awesome. You know those orange creamsicle things everyone loved as a kid? Well these are basically a lemon version of that. Seriously, they are that good.
Each one has 12 grams of protein, only 3 carbs, and only 0.5 grams of fat! Now if that isn’t some awesome macros for a popsicle I don’t know what is. And not only is the nutrition amazing, but they taste delicious too. Can’t beat that combo!

These lemon cream protein popsicles are the perfect summer treat when you want something creamy, refreshing, healthy, and packed with protein
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt*
- 2 scoops Ascent Lemon Sorbet native whey protein powder
- 1/3 cup milk/water (I used cashew milk for its creaminess)
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients up in a blend. You can also whisk vigorously. Just make sure the protein is well incorporated so there are no clumps of powder in the popsicles!
- Depending on size of popsicle molds, this should make 3-5 popsicles roughly! Mine made 5.

*Can use regular vanilla yogurt, or non-dairy vanilla yogurt as well but it will have less protein than the Greek yogurt.
