Guess what? I made another recipe with chocolate. I know, it is such a surprise. I have been out of town a ton so far this year for racing and training. So, whenever I get back home it feels really good to get baking again.
I made this chocolate banana baked oatmeal last night to have as dessert after dinner. It is awesome because it uses common ingredients that almost everyone always has on hand. And, the oats add good fiber and complex carbs.
I used my chocolate Beast Sports Nutrition protein powder in this recipe combined with the cocoa powder to give it an amazing rich chocolatey taste. There is also mashed banana in the batter to give it the delicious banana flavor.
Finally, I had to add some toppings. I sliced up a little banana for the top. Then I melted some chocolate peanut butter to drizzle over the top. Lastly, I grabbed a little bit of dark chocolate and shaved it over the top. If you love chocolate and banana, trust me, you will love this!
