This recipes comes with most of my all time favorite things to eat. Peanut Butter. Banana. Oatmeal. Yep, those three are some staples in my diet. So, I figured why not combine them all into one?
So we have this PEANUT BUTTER BANANA PROTEIN BAKED OATMEAL
I am currently down in Florida on Fort Myers Beach staying with my grandparents. It has been nice to be down here in the warm weather and being able to train on the bike outside! I made these a few days ago and have been eating them during my rides!
As you can see in the picture above, I also topped them with a but of a peanut butter cream mixture. It is simply:
- vanilla Greek yogurt
- peanut flour
- sweetener to taste
It sounds simple, but it adds an extra bit of sweet, creaminess to the bars that can’t be beat!

Quick notes on ingredients:
- For the protein powder, it must be whey. Casein protein and protein blends will bake different. You are welcome to try them, but the recipe may need to be adjusted. I used this vanilla whey protein powder!
- Peanut flour is basically defatted peanuts. It has the flavor of peanut butter, but with more protein and less fat. I like to add it to recipes for the peanut butter flavor without adding the extra fat! I use this one.
