I had some strawberries at the house, so I figured hey why not make a strawberry lemonade smoothie? Regular strawberry lemonade is so delicious and refreshing, it had to be amazing in a smoothie. It certainly did not disappoint!

I am continuing with my Ascent lemon sorbet recipe mode because it’s so delicious, and fun to change it up from the typical vanilla or chocolate that people tend to get stuck with. It’s a super high quality whey protein. It has the perfect lemon flavor, not overpowering, and not that terrible artificial lemon flavor that a lot of things have.
Strawberry Lemonade Protein Smoothie

This is a super refreshing, healthy and protein packed strawberry lemonade smoothie. Perfect after any hot workout to cool you off and start recovery!
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond/cashew milk (or preferred milk)
- 1 cup strawberries, frozen
- 1 scoop [url href=”http://bit.ly/MacroChefWhey” target=”_blank”]Ascent lemon sorbet native whey protein powder[/url]
- lemon juice to taste (optional, for a stronger lemon flavor)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a powerful blender. Blend until smooth and creamy, and there are no longer chunks of frozen strawberries. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
