There have been some exciting things going on lately, which is partly why I have lacked on the recipe side of things! I was recently interviewed by Drew Blair of WISH-TV Indianapolis. We talked about my cycling, involvement with Rollfast, and of course MacroChef.
Check out the awesome video interview below, or click here for the article on WISH-TV website.
Anyway, it was really cool to do the interview. It was something I had never done before. I was excited to be able to get my story out and talk about my involvement with Rollfast over the past 4-5 years and how they have helped me with my cycling development every step of the way.
I first met Matt Tanner, president of Rollfast, about 5 years ago when I was training at an indoor cycling studio. He immediately took a liking to me (I must not be half bad haha!). Back then, all I knew about them was that they were a local cycling club and they also put on an event called the Rollfast Gran Fondo.
Since then, Matt and his wife Chris, and the Rollfast Foundation have helped me in so many ways. They have taken me to races. Matt has taught me how to ride in a group. They have given me scholarships to afford bikes and races. I really can’t put into words how much Rollfast means to me. They are helping the cycling community in so many different ways. Giving cyclists like me scholarships, giving kids bikes, helping them ride their first century (100 mile ride) and so much more.
I really am blessed that I have gotten to know the Tanner’s and become a part of Rollfast.
If you are a cyclist, or interested in the “Worlds Fastest Gran Fondo” in the “#1 City in America (Carmel, IN)” check out their website to learn more. It is my favorite event of the year, and the most fun you can have on a bike!
