Finally, school is almost out for the summer. I just have one more day tomorrow and I will be free. At least for a few months anyway. I figured I might as well celebrate while I am studying for my last 2 finals tomorrow. What better way make the pain of studying a little easier than cooking up some Raspberry Chocolate Chip Protein Waffles.
When it is the weekend and you want something delicious for breakfast, you really cannot go wrong with waffles. There are so many delicious flavor combinations you can make with waffles. I have come up with some pretty good waffle combinations such as Reese’s waffles, chocolate covered strawberry waffles, and white chocolate brownie waffles.
The base recipe for the waffles wasn’t really too special. I used vanilla combat powder for the protein. Then I folded in some frozen raspberries and dark chocolate chips. I layered the waffles with some vanilla pudding for a little more flavor.
I really can’t wait until summer. I will have so much more time to cook. I might just have to make waffles every day. Or pancakes. Mmmm I really wouldn’t mind eating pancakes and waffles every day.
